The last time we saw Pippa Middleton in a white dress, it was at sister Kate’s 2011 wedding to Prince William. Pippa’s white bridesmaid’s dress, with its close-to-the-body cut and elegant line of buttons up the back, wound up getting almost as much attention as Kate’s white Alexander McQueen–designed wedding dress. Just over six years later, we’re pretty certain that all eyes (and headlines) will be on the wedding gown Pippa wore on Saturday as she married London financier James Matthews in a Berkshire, England, ceremony.

Created by British designer Giles Deacon, Pippa’s wedding gown is couture (Deacon does only made-to-order gowns), just as Kate’s was. Like her older sister, Pippa also went for a timeless look: Her gown features a classic corseted bodice, allover lace, a high neck, and a heart-shaped keyhole back. The cap sleeves are perfect for a British spring wedding, and the look is topped off by an elegant (and what looks like chapel-length) tulle and pearl veil and demure drop-pearl earrings.

Duncan further described the dress to the Telegraph: “The bespoke silk cotton lace was hand appliquéd to create an illusion of the dress having ‘no seams.’ The lace bodice is embroidered with pearl detailing over an organza and tulle underskirt, which has layer upon layer to enable a floor sweeping movement.”

Sounds like a gown fit for royalty to us! Ready for your first look?
